About the event
Briana Zonas is an interdisciplinary artist and educator with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Parson’s The New School of Design, and an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts.
Briana has performed and displayed her work in solo and group shows, nationally and internationally, including at the 2016 Miami Performance International Festival. Most recently, her paintings “Rise” and “Memory Cloud” are on screen at the Saatchi Gallery in London, England.
Her demonstration will involve working intuitively on mixed media painting using yupo paper. She will share techniques of collage, fluid acrylics, inks, and watercolors. Full of possibilities, this demonstration is geared to expand one’s approach to using mixed media.
